Anecia is a disease ecologist who has explored how bat-human interactions influence within-host transmission, spillover risk and tolerance of cohabitation. As a postdoctoral fellow, she will be working with Dr. Liz Mallott and Dr. Theresa Gildner on the Rural Embodiment and Community Health study to understand how environmental flooding affects health outcomes in low resource communities.
